Courtney McAlister ran for a seat on the Superior Court of Yuba County in 2012.

McAlister ran for the seat of retiring Judge Dennis J. Buckley. He was defeated in the primary election on June 5, receiving 33.23 percent of the vote.[1][2]

Originally, McAlister filed to run for a seat on the Superior Court of Sutter County, but switched races in February 2012.[3]
