OnlyOptionsTrades was founded by Anthony DeGalbo and Justin Hamm in 2020.[9] They realised that education in finance is becoming a need of every investor. In the pandemic period many people changed their profession and moved to the stock market to earn from their investments.[10]

Earlier the stock market was not preferred by the majority of people due to lack of practical knowledge. The company right after its launch in early 2020, started hosting live online classes 6 days in a week for people to learn about advanced and beginner trading strategies. The classes can be accessed later at their own time as video recordings.[11]

From the beginning the company was strictly against risky investments or yolo mindsets.[12] They teach proper risk management strategies so traders can learn risk management and proper sizing.[13]
