Semri Ta. Purva is a small village of 584 hectares in Karchhana Tehsil in Allahabad district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Semri Ta. Purva depends on KARCHANA, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One Well supply and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tap. Semri Ta. Semri Ta. Purva is a census village in the district of Allahabad, Uttar Pradesh. The village has a total population of 5141 and has total administration over 801 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of KARCHANA and Allahabad to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
