Manpiya depends on JAISALMER, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, Two Wells supply, One tank, One tubewell, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Manpiya is also surrounded by Two lakes. The village has a total population of 369 and has total administration over 61 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage. * Manpiya has 90 children, 48 boys and 42 girls. * Scheduled tribe counts for 304 (82.38%) males constitute 157 (42.55%) of the population and females 147 (39.84%). ## Medical facility[edit] * Manpiya has 3 hospitals in nearby town. ## Educational institutions[edit] As per the census 2011 report, 117 people are literate in Manpiya out of which 78 are males and 39 are females.
