Siyara is a small village of 1018 hectares in Bhopalgarh Tehsil in Jodhpur district, also known as the Blue City in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Siyara depends on Pipar City, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, Two Wells supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Siyara is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Siyara's pin code is 342601[4], and village code is 01954200. The area of Siyara is segregated as 138 hectares irrigated area, 774.12 hectares unirrigated, the 24 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 82 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Siyara has One post office (Siyara B.O) and One public telephone. The village is connected with a single bus service. Siyara has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

The village has an uninterrupted 24 hours electric supply from a power grid.

Siyara is a census village in the district of Jodhpur, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 2501 and has total administration over 515 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

Employment[edit]

According to a census 2011 report, 1326 people of the total population are employed. The workforce is 681 male, 645 female with 774 (58.37%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 529 males and 245 females. 68 males and 44 females are considered as the main cultivators with the help of 122 male and 165 female agricultural labor. 552 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Pipar City and Jodhpur to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
