Christian Deciga (born August 23, 1992), is a Mexican Americans technology Entrepreneurship and Angel investor. He is primarily known as a co-founder of Everipedia. Deciga is responsible for playing a key role in driving millions of Pageview views to the site during its early inception via Social media optimization. He joined Everipedia in December 2015, after meeting Sam Kazemian and Mahbod Moghadam at a tech talk at California State Polytechnic University, Pomona.[2][3]
Deciga graduated from North Garland High School in 2010. During his last two years of high school, Deciga was employed as a McDonald's employee to help support his family. He attended California State University, San Bernardino, majoring in Computer science. In December 2015, he decided to forgo his studies at Cal State San Bernardino to work on Everipedia alongside co-founders Sam Kazemian, Mahbod Moghadam, Travis Moore, and Theodor Forselius at the company's initial office located on University of California, Los Angeles. Upon joining Everipedia in December 2015, Deciga created entries on the site that would help drive significant substantial amount of Web traffic|web traffic. Many of his entries were often shared widely on Social media sites Facebook and Twitter, and referenced in news publications and Blog. In October 2016, during the Donald Trump 2016 presidential campaign, The New York Times referenced an Everipedia entry for Natasha Stoynoff, which was initially created by Deciga. [5] His work with Everipedia has been profiled by publications such as Forbes India and Yahoo! News.
In February 2019, Deciga alongside Sam Kazemian and Mahbod Moghadam, made Cameo appearance in American rapper Juicy J's music video for his song "Let Me See" featuring Kevin Gates and Lil Skies. The co-founders make an appearance from the 5:27 - 5:32 timestamp of the video wearing black t-shirts with the Everipedia logo standing behind Kevin Gates. [6]
