General: She was defeated in the general election on August 7, 2014, after receiving 46.1 percent of the vote. She competed against D'Army Bailey.

Pafford Dobson received her undergraduate degree from the University of Florida and her J.D. from the University of Memphis Law School in 1984.[3]
Career[edit]
Pafford Dobson currently maintains her law practice of Rikard & Dobson, PLLC in Germantown, Tennessee. She has worked as an attorney in private practice for the past thirty years.[3]
