Claire Legrand is an American writer of children's and young adult literature, including novels and short stories. She is best known for her New York Times bestselling Empirium trilogy, published by Sourcebooks Fire.[1]

Personal life[edit]

Legrand is from North Texas[2] but now resides in Princeton, New Jersey,[3] where she works as a librarian.[4] She graduated from the University of North Texas with a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature and a Master of Science in Library Science.[5]
