Heekawara is a small village of 260 hectares in Salumbar Tehsil in UDAIPUR district in the state of RAJASTHAN, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Heekawara depends on Salumbar, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, Two Wells supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Heekawara is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Heekawara's pin code is 313038[4], and village code is 03237100. The area of Heekawara is segregated as 37 hectares irrigated area, 91 hectares unirrigated, the 35 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 97 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Heekawara is a census village in the district of UDAIPUR, RAJASTHAN. The village has a total population of 943 and has total administration over 184 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

* Heekawara has 177 children, 98 boys and 79 girls.
* Scheduled caste counts for 23 (2.44%) males constitute 13 (1.38%) of the population and females 10 (1.06%).

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Salumbar and UDAIPUR to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
