Trenton, New Jersey: Gov. Christie has nominated Linda Grasso Jones and Leslie-Ann M. Justus to the New Jersey Superior Court. The nominations must now be approved by the Senate Judiciary Committee before being sent to the full Senate for confirmation.
Jones is currently a partner of the law firm Cleary, Alfieri & Jones in Matawan and a municipal prosecutor in Hazlet.
Justus has been a New Jersey deputy attorney general since 1995. She has been assigned to the Appellate Bureau of the state's Division of Criminal Justice since 2003 and has previously served in the Office of State Police Affairs and the Law Division. Between 1998 and 2002, she was a senior litigation associate at the law firm of Watson, Stevens Fiorilla & Rutter.[1]
