5e (RURAL) is a small village of 280 hectares in Ganganagar Tehsil in Ganganagar district, established by Maharaja Ganga Singh and known as one of the first well-planned modern cities of India, and is greatly influenced by the town planning of Paris in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. 5e (RURAL) depends on GANGANAGAR, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, Two Wells supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, One canal and Two springs. 5e (RURAL) is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. 5e (RURAL)'s pin code is 335001[4], and village code is 00042400. They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Ganganagar to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
