3. Baroque was a seventeenth century art form that was known for being complex and incongruous. It was intended to be part of the counter-reformation by the Catholic Church.
4. Old English was developed by Germanic tribes that settled in England. After the Norman Conquest in A.D. 1066, Latin began to influence the old English language, and it was eventually improved and became Middle English. And from Middle English, the language improved to what it is today.
5. Vietnam earned its independence in A.D. 939, right after the Tang dynasty, of China, collapsed. The Lu dynasty of Vietnam ruled from 1009 to 1225, this is when the current capital of Hanoi was established. When the Mongols attacked, the Vietnamese successfully repelled three attacks.
6. One of the most likely reasons for the Renaissance not taking place in Asia, is because there was no prior form of Christianity in Asia. The Renaissance took place because people began to see the flaws in Catholicism.
