I have been a Peace and Social Justice Advocate most all of my adult life. This has been my vocation, my purpose in life. I have never been paid for my vocation. I have contributed my own money and time to my vocation. I have primarily acted independently, but often in coordination with other groups or organizations. I have been official members of some groups, but also so closely active with some that I would qualify as an active member.

My activist days actually began in earnest when I was the last of the draftees in October 1972. After training, I was assigned to the U.S. Army Signal Corp in South Korea. After a year of research, I started sending letters to Congress and President Gerald Ford complaining of the U.S. support of the Park Chong Hee dictatorship. My letters were usually signed by 5-6 other soldiers. On my 4-page letter to the President, I collected over 100 signatures from my base. in July 1975, I was abruptly and secretly removed from Korea by the U.S. Military command at the demands of the Korean Government.

I am agnostic and I respect all religions. I, however, find that most people do not really practice the most sacred values of their religions as to peace, loving thy neighbor and doing no harm to others. This is particularly evident in the way people blindly believe corporate media and then vote for government officials that promote war and violence, destroy the environment, and ignore the basic needs of the people for a fair and just life!

  • Military Industrial Complex control of media and the two main political parties and censorship of alternative information from their profit driven narratives.
  • Our government and media are not treating climate change like the serious crisis it has become
  • The Military Industrial Media Complex has split the country into extreme hatred between Republicans & Democrats despite both having similar basic needs and wants

I am a 9/11 truther! Since the release of the 9/11 Commission report in 2005 which I consider a flat-out confession by my government, I have offered an unclaimed reward of $100,000 to the first person who can prove or at least demonstrate to my satisfaction that my government did not plan, manage, execute and cover-up the events around the September 11, 2001, attacks. My website is http://www.911reward.org.

I have been arrested over a dozen times protesting against the U.S. Drone Assassination program at either Beale AFB or Creech AFB for close to 10 years. These drone attacks have killed thousands of civilians, terrorized millions more in countries we are not at war. These drone attacks are in violation of our U.S. Constitution and International Law.

It is insane that the U.S. does not have Single Payer Medicare for All like most of the nations in the industrial developed world. Millions of Americans have died and tens of millions have suffered from the lack of affordable quality healthcare. Although Democrats have had total control of California for years and their platform calls for Medicare for All, the corporate beholden Democratic Party always finds a reason not to pass Medicare for All during the past ten years despite supposedly progressive Governors. When Arnold Schwarzenegger was Governor, he twice vetoed in 2006 and 2008 the Democratic legislature passed Medicare for All bills.

All of the people mentioned below, including others I have either momentarily forgotten or have still to learn about, are people I look up to as role models because in their lives they have pursued peace, justice, human rights, the environment and the truth!

We have a government and mainstream media under the control of the military-industrial-prison complex and a few hundred powerful and rich people who comprise the Deep State. They are real and too be feared. They act to smear and frame those who might successfully oppose them. When that fails, they have orchestrated the deaths of outspoken leaders such as JFK, RFK, MLK and Malcolm X. They attack, imprison, exterminate whistleblowers and activists like Paul Robeson, Karen Silkwood, S Brian Willson, Judi Bari, Mumia Abu Jamal, Chelsea Manning, Edward Snowden, Julian Assange, Daniel Ellsberg, Ralph Nader, among others. They conspire to keep or remove from political office those who would defy them publicly, such as Dennis Kucinich, Cynthia McKinney and Bernie Sanders.

I highly respect the many censored Journalist, Researchers and Activists for example: Chris Hedges, Abby Martin, Glenn Greenwald, Richard Wolff, Rosa Parks, Jesse Ventura, John Pilger, Ray McGovern, Robert F Kennedy Jr., Media Benjamin, Richard Falk, Noam Chomsky, Jim Hightower, Norman Solomon, Benjamin Linder, Rachel Corrie, Mahatma Gandhi, Nelson Mandela, Kim Chi Ha, Harvey Milk, Che Guevara, Medgar Evers, Eugene Victor “Gene” Debs, Steve Biko, Leonard Peltier, Cesar Chavez, Jill Stein, Ajamu Baraka, Ken Saro-Wiwa, Ed Ashner, Martin Sheen, Jane Fonda, Richard Boyle, Óscar Romero and the many activists exposing the lies about 9/11 .

I also have had many personal activist friends over the years whom I greatly respect for their pursuits of peace, justice, human rights and the environment, whom I won’t mention because the list would be long but always incomplete. They know who they are, and I thank them for being a part of my life’ journey!

I am a problem solver and always try to engage in active research and study before taking a position especially concerning controversial issues. Yet my positions are always open to change based on new information and facts.

I will be a bullhorn in exposing corruption in congress, all our government agencies and in our corporate world! I aways do my best toward creating a better world for people and all living things!

I believe someone elected must keep in touch with his/her constituents. I believe one must keep their constituents informed about the issues of the day and what is happening in congress. I believe one must be attentive to the problems of constituents and determine if future legislation might be necessary or just guidance dealing with government bureaucracy. I believe one should not be afraid to speak out on controversial issues in fear of losing votes. I believe that one should listen to all sides, work toward compromise, but in the end be as decisive as possible about solutions that will benefit one's constituents, people in general, our society and the world as a whole!

As there are many lobbyists vying for one's attention especially from monied special interests, I believe that one should engage with representatives of all sides of an issue. I believe that a Representative should actively seek out those individuals and organizations of possible different views on issues. One should always seek the advice of trusted experts concerning issues and events.

I believe one should use his bullhorn when addressing important and especially controversial issues.

We have a government and mainstream media under the control of the military-industrial-prison complex and a few hundred powerful and rich people who comprise the Deep State. They are real and too be feared.

The Deep State relentlessly promotes racial, religious, and social issues to divide, control and conquer us. The Republican and Democratic Parties along with the Corporate Media have become the Deep State tools to subvert us. Only when we understand this will we have a chance to unite and slay this demon that would willingly destroy us and the world for power and wealth.

With the Corporate Media long censoring opposing viewpoints of the government narrative on important issues, now we are seeing massive flagrant censorship in social media platforms at a level only seen in the most authoritative of governments.

I will be a bullhorn exposing the corruption in Congress, all our government agencies and in the corporate world!

It would be especially great if the elections were 100% publicly financed, so that representatives didn't have to always find it necessary to be fund raising! Representatives could then be devoted 100% to doing the people's business and run for reelection on the issues instead of raising money for self-serving promotions.

I will never accept campaign donations from corporations. I will only accept donations from individuals! If elected, I don't intend to spend much time fundraising as I will let my actions and bullhorn on the issues speak for me!

I think that we need to have a society that has equal access to all viewpoints! In other words, we need a truly informed public first. We also need an election system where money does not determine the views and opinions of candidate. At the moment money has a greater ability to elect candidates rather than one views and policy beliefs, so term limits would act to eventually eliminate progressive minded people.

I am what I know! Now 70, I have been a Peace and Social Justice Advocate most all of my adult life. This has been my vocation, my purpose in life. I have never been paid for my vocation. I have contributed my own money and time to my vocation. I have primarily acted independently, but often in coordination with other groups or organizations.

The Deep State relentlessly promotes racial, religious and social issues to divide, control and conquer us. Only when we understand this will we have a chance to unite and slay this demon that would willingly destroy us and the world for power and wealth

  • Initiate implementation of the Green New Deal immediately
  • Implement immediately Medicare For All.
  • Get Big Money out of our Elections via 100% Public financing. Circumvent Citizen United ruling by funding candidates and issues publicly to effectively neutralize big money expenditures. Obtain Funds by special tax on multi-national corporations. Will use my Congressional bullhorn to attack any policies, tax schemes that don't help address these issues above. We have 10 years to save, not just America, but the world from runaway climate catastrophe.

1. Scientists now say we have 10 years, maybe less with Trump, to prevent a runaway climate catastrophe. The government needs to treat Climate Change like it did the Race to the Moon.

2. The Citizen's United decision by the Supreme Court demands certain Justice's Impeachment. It is insane to think that our Republic will long survive where big money has free reign over our election system.

3. The Military-Industrial-Prison (MIP) complex steals out limited taxes to create more and more weapons. They lobby our Congress on unsubstantiated fears for more wars, continued wars and military sales to other countries.

4. Obama refused to consider Medicare for All, removed the Public Option & Cost Controls from his corporate Insurance written profit bonanza disastrous "Obamacare". It drove middle class subject to increasing insurance costs into to supporting a Republican take over of our Government. Now we have Trump.

5. End our cruel illegal foreign policy of wars, coups, sanctions and destabilization of other nations that is the number one reason for mass immigration. Grant Dreamers prompt opportunity for citizenship.

6. Beyond Reading and Math, Critical Thinking should be most important learning skill taught in our education system.

7. Wealth Inequity in America and the World is totally unacceptable. Tax billionaires out of existence. Need a guaranteed livable income for all citizens.

8. Proven: explosives brought down towers. Need honest 9/11 investigation!

The deeds, words, actions and/or suffering on behalf the common people that Jesus, Mahatma Gandhi, Ralph Nader, Daniel Ellsberg, Mumia Abu Jamal, Mohammad Ali, Caesar Chavez,Jeannette Rankin and Martin Luther King have been inspirational in making me the outspoken progressive I am.

Today, I find further inspiration from Chelsea Manning, Edward Snowden, Julian Assange, Greta Thunberg, Kathy Kelley, Media Benjamin, Colin Kaepernick among others.

I am in respect of those in politics who have made bold progressive stands such as Dennis Kucinich, Cynthia McKinney, JFK, RFK, FDR, Shirley Chisholm, Bella Abzug, Bernie Sanders, Elizabeth Warren, Tulsi Gabbard, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez as examplesd,

I am also constantly inspired by my many personal progressive friends and relatives for all that they do on behalf of Peace, Justice and the Environment.

People who boldly stand-up for the people against powers and forces that are doing evil and injustice to others are the people I most respect.

I have been a progressive social justice human rights environmental activist for over 45 years. I have been actively involved in exposing my countries war crimes and oppression of people in other nations across the world. I have been kicked out of South Korea by the U.S. Military at the demand of the Dictatorship'. I was on a 3 month caravan to El Salvador during violent death squad oligarchy rule of Duarte. Spent time in Nicaragua during Sandinista successful revolutionary rule.

I have been an activist involved in movements concerning sexual harassment, rent control, injured workers, human rights, environment, occupy, police brutality, militarized drones, Monsanto, foreign policy, progressive electoral. I know foreign policy as good as most congresspeople. I will listen to foreign service officers and organizations that care about people. I will not support any more military aid to any country as it is only used to threaten others or oppress their own people. I will only support military budgets that are significantly reduced, and which closes many of the 800+ overseas bases. War on Drugs, Terrorism, Russia are hoaxes.

I am skilled in critical thinking. I am very organized. I respect the work of intelligent people who truly care about the lives of people and the environment. I will not rely on corporate media, think tanks, lawyers and P.R. firms for the truth about anything. Their purpose is to only make short term profits at any costs. I consider corporations to be the greatest evil and danger ever created by humans.

Bottom line, I will not support any projects that do not leave all people & the environment better. I am 100% for a Green New Deal, as we have only 10 years to save the world from runaway climate catastrophe. We need Medicare for All and guaranteed livable income for all American citizens. Our foreign policy and aid must be to encourage the rest of the world to follow us in this effort to save humanity and mother earth!

Need to Listen, Investigate, Solve Problems & be a Bullhorn!

I won't be controlled by corporations & big money interests. I will be outspoken for interests of the people. It is not enough to just vote on major key issues. There is too much vote counting by Congressional Party leaders. This often allows Congresspersons to seemingly vote in their people's best interests when it actually will not hurt corporate interests. But "woe is them" if their vote causes a legislation to go against corporate interests. But that is often a truer test of a congressperson's independence from big money and corporate party leadership and their believe in the people they represent.

A congressperson needs to keep in close touch with the people, non-profits and community organizations of his district. Townhalls, meetings with organization leaders is also important. Individuals and small organizations who will often just drop in unexpectantly, can be canaries in the mine as to larger problems and concerns in the district.

Mail, e-mails, phone calls, petitions all contribute to understanding the mood and feelings of your district. I believe any person in districts outside yours should have easy method to contact a Congressperson. On national issues I believe it is important to also know the feelings of people outside one's district. Communication with national organizations is very important.

While it is important to have communication with business and corporate interests, a Congressperson must also seek alternate viewpoints & information A good open relationship with non-corporate funded issue oriented local, state and national organizations is a valuable resource in that process.

One of that most traditional aspects of local Congressional offices is to address problems & concerns of individuals especially those problems with government agencies. A Congressperson should use such visits as a window into how society is functioning for the average person.

Superman, fighting evil of corporations and the greedy super rich!

It has a set number of members (435), divided by approximate equal partitions of the nation's population. The census at the beginning of each decade determines the nation's and each state's population. Each state is then required to create even-populated political districts for it's allotted number of districts. Many states still suffer from the corruption of gerrymandering that attempts to artificially create unnatural districts that would dilute one parties influence over another in the state. As in CA now we need national legislation that that requires each states political districts to be formed by independent panels.

The two year terms of Representatives has plus and minus. The election of the entire House members each two years allows for faster response to changing attitudes in America. This can be good or bad. The Senate does offer a stop-break on sudden flip-flopping of public opinion.

The two year election cycle often forces continuous fundraising by candidates and incumbents. This opens politicians to financial influenced voting and decision making. This problem is solved with 100% public financing of elections. Right now it is more a problem in swing districts.

I can't support term limits until we end Citizen United and we have 100% public financed elections.

I do in away, but not particularly in actual elected office experience. Because of our big-money effective private control over our elections, it is becoming rare for officials repeatedly required to seek elections not to be corrupted or jaded eventually into compliance. Those who resist are often unelected out of office by big money that often once supported them.

I have 45 years of on the ground in your face political struggle involving many different issues. I have been arrested in civil disobedience over 30 times. I am willing to more than match my political and foreign policy knowledge with almost any person in Congress or the Senate. It's not that I am smarter or "more" educated. I have a deeper understanding of the issues the people confront, and I am not afraid to speak out. I may only be a one term Congressperson under "Citizen United", but I would go down with my bullhorn loud and clear on what our problems are and how we might solve them rather quickly. I will win and continue winning when enough people have had enough of big money control of government.

Scientists now say we have 10 years, maybe less with Trump, to prevent a runaway climate catastrophe. The government needs to treat Climate Change like it did the Race to the Moon. We need more International cooperation with Russia and China. We need to end this crazy anti-Russia narrative and promotion of a new "Cold War". We either all unite during next 10 years or we all will suffer the dire consequences. The Green New Deal should not become just an empty slogan! Fossil fuels has always been a known limited resource. Now it's an emergency to end its use!
