François Duvalier (often called Papa Doc) was the dictator of Haiti.
Duvalier was appointed as director general of the National Public Health Service in 1946. 1957 he was elected as president. 1959 Duvalier created the Tonton Macoute, a secret police that killed 100,000 people and was known for cannibalism. He also appointed Voodoo as country's official religion[1] In his tenure he caused 30,000 deaths[2] and practiced Corruption.[3]
