Porto (Portuguese: Oporto) is the second largest city in Portugal situated in the north of the country. The city has a total population of 287,591 (2011). It's located at 3 km (2 mi) of the mouth of the Douro River on the Atlantic Ocean. The city is mostly known fo its famous port wine.[1]
